History of NOCC

Norwegian Car Carriers AS (NOCC) was formed in 2010 through the amalgamation of Eidsiva Rederi ASA (founded 1930) and Dyvi Shipping AS (founded 1955). Both organizations had extensive Ro/Ro and car carrier experience. Dyvi Shipping AS took delivery of "Dyvi Anglia", the world’s first purpose-built roll-on roll-off car carrier, in 1964.

In 2014, NOCC were acquired by private equity investors and was delisted from the Oslo Stock Exchange. The Company is today a private company and fully owned by a company advised by JP Morgan Global Alternative’s Global Transportation Group.

• NOCC Shipowning AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of NOCC, is the primary shipowning entity in the Group. The entity is registered in Norway and organized under the Norwegian Tonnage Tax Scheme.

• NOCC's strategy is to grow as a tonnage provider to the global and regional car carrier operators by growing the fleet of large, flexible and high quality car carriers.
